1. Food and seats

Starting off with the festival’s greatest attraction — the sheer variety of food choices available. From barbeque to Japanese cuisine, GastroBeats had it all. There were over 50 food stalls lined up with different cuisines to cater to all taste buds.

Catch+ visited one of the stalls with a snaking queue, ‘2 Ninja 1 Fatty’. Their Hotdog Tornad Potato was one of many eye-catching dishes. “Wow, what is this? Hotdog and chips, fried together? I saw it and was sure to check it out,” a visitor, Selina Poh, exclaimed.

To cater to large crowds, GastroBeats arranged many tables and benches for patrons. Set against the landscape of Singapore’s city, visitors enjoyed a scenic view while indulging in their meal.

2. For our furry friends

GastroBeats is a pet-friendly festival, and these furries were out on a date with their owners! While walking around GastroBeats, Catch+ noticed pet owners bringing their animal friends along for meals and to go shopping.

The dogs even started making friends with one another, how adorable!

3. Games and performances

The event also featured numerous family-friendly carnival games. The merry-go-round decorated with yellow fairy lights allowed visitors to live out their fairytale dreams. There were also more thrilling activities, like the bumper cars and pirate ships.

The event featured live bands such as CTRL Chaos and Sopes. Their performances added to the lively atmosphere of the area.

With its large range of activities and huge variety of food, GastroBeats is sure to be a pleasant experience for most. We can look forward to what GastroBeats has to offer in its next edition.
