Secondary Three to be invited to NDP & NE Shows

According to an announcement released by the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) on 18 March 2024, all students entering Secondary Three in 2025 will be invited to watch the 2024 and 2025 National Education (NE) and National Day Parade (NDP) shows.

Previously, the students were a part of the Primary Five cohort who were unable to attend the shows due to the Covid-19 restrictions in 2020 and 2021.

The announcement also stated that the invitation will be rolled out between 20 and 21 March via the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) Parents Gateway (PG), with interest for a ticket to be indicated by 27 March 2024 via PG. The implementation of NE shows in 1997 is regarded as a pivotal component of the national education for students in Singapore. According to MINDEF, the experience aims to deepen the appreciation of the Singaporean identity among youths.
